On April 5, the first trailer for season 15 of ABC’s The Bachelorette aired on Good Morning America and Hannah Brown is ready to find love.
The promo starts off by showing Brown, who is a former Miss Alabama, walking through a forest in a flowing blue gown and tiara, complete with a “Beauty Queen” sash.
She then sheds all memories of her Beauty Queen image, including her sash and crown, leaving them behind her as she walks through the woods.
The new Bachelorette, who vied for Colton Underwood’s attention on the latest season of The Bachelor, is then seen taking off her skirt from her gown, revealing a blue pantsuit.
The promo ends with Brown wearing the pantsuit, surrounded by red roses while a tagline reads, “Think you know her? Think again.”
In an interview with PEOPLE after it was announced she would be the new Bachelorette, Hannah said she had transformed throughout the latest season of The Bachelor.
“I didn’t end up with Colton, but I ended up loving myself more,” she said. “I came into that show as someone who wasn’t as open as I am now. I was terrified to be my true self because I felt that it wasn’t enough. But I was allowed to break down those walls.”
During a recent visit to The Ellen Show, Brown told Ellen DeGeneres she “can’t wait to unleash the beast on some jabroni.”
“My journey on The Bachelor was interesting,” Brown said. “I definitely grew, but I had ups and downs. There were moments where I did not think this would happen. I think the reason I’m here is because I was real, I was myself and I showed every part of myself.”
Per a description for the premiere episode by ABC, returning home gave Hannah the time to reflect and heal from her breakup with Colton, as well as helping her gain “a powerful understanding of her desire to be deeply and fiercely loved.”
“Now, with a newfound sense of self and a little Southern charm, she is readier than ever to find her true love,” ABC said.
Hannah Brown starts her journey to find the love of her life in the season 15 premiere of The Bachelorette on Monday, May 13 at 8/7c on ABC.
