However, those involved in the project have communicated that the first season will explore “the Ego through an alternate reality Kanye West.” Now, how’s that for intriguing!?

The project continues to turn heads as it’s revealed that funny-guy, Seth Rogen, directed Omniverse‘s pilot episode, “Singularity.” Others involved in the exciting upcoming series include West and Smith’s co-executive producers: Scooter Braun, James Shin, Scott Manson and Miguel Melendez. It also includes the co-executive producer of Amazon’s original series, Undone, Lee Sung Jin who will work on Omniverse as both a writer and producer.

While there is no available trailer and no news as to when Omniverse can be expected to air, we should expect it to delve into the psyche of West as he explores his thoughts on perception. According to Deadline, Lee effused excitement regarding his role in the upcoming project and provided a little more insight into the show’s metaphysical premise. Lee said, “I’m honored and thrilled to be collaborating with everyone involved to present an alternate world through the eyes of a young man somewhere in the multiverse who happens to also be a Kanye West. Omniverse is not set in our world nor about our world’s Kanye West as we aim to add a new spin on alternate realities, consciousness, and push the limits of half-hour narrative.”
