Kylie Jenner showed off her new tattoo on her Instagram story Thursday night in a short video clip also featuring her friend Anastasia Karanikolaou, best known as Stassie, in which the two showed off their matching ink. Most couples get matching tattoos, but these two best friends got matching tattoos, total best friend goals!
According to Page Six, they both got tattooed by well-known celebrity tattoo artist JonBoy at Travis Scott’s birthday party in late April. JonBoy, who has also done work for Kendall Jenner, Selena Gomez, Sofia Richie, and Justin and Hailey Bieber, posted Stassie’s new tattoo to his Instagram, tagging her; it wasn’t until the Instagram video posted Thursday that Kylie unveiled her own coordinating ink. It has been rumored that Stassie got the Stormi tattoo to prove to Kylie that she can be her new BFF, but fans aren’t buying it.

It’s no surprise that Kylie’s new ink is so discreet, most of her tattoos are; like her butterfly tattoo that is also done by JonBoy. Additionally, Kylie has “la,” her hometown, on her ankle, refitted from a “t” tattoo after she and Tyga broke up and the words “before ˈsa-nə-tē”—the phonetic spelling of “sanity”—on her hip.
What ink will Kylie get next? Maybe something dedicated to boyfriend and father of her child, Travis Scott.
