Jonas Brothers New Album: ‘Happiness Begins’ Release Date, Tracklist & Details

When the Jonas Brothers first announced their long-awaited comeback in March after disbanding in 2013, fans have been eager to hear new music. Already releasing two hit singles, “Sucker” and “Cool,” the three brothers finally revealed the tracklist for their new album, “Happiness Begins,” which will drop June 7th.

The band’s Twitter account tweeted a video of the three explaining what “Happiness Begins” means to them.

“We’re making sure we brought you all the joy and happiness you bring us every day,” says Nick.

When speaking to Billboard Magazine about the album title, Joe says he likes to hear what people are releasing every week and that he’s constantly skipping through songs that are sad.

“Its everywhere you look right now – it’s on TV, Instagram,” he said. “Obviously there’s things that need to be discussed that we’re passionate about and that we want to talk about, but at the same time we also just want to make people feel good and create a safe environment.”

“Being able to get up and do these shows, there’s a joy and a happiness that I feel – that I think we all feel – that we want to share with the world,” Nick added. “We said early on we’re trying to bottle up happiness, it’s our objective with the music we’re going to make and the story we’re going to tell because the world needs that and we want to bring that to them.”

Since the announcement of their comeback, the trio appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden for a full week, performed at the Billboard Music Awards, The CW Upfronts, and the live finale of season 16 of The Voice, was the musical guest on the May 11th episode of Saturday Night Live, and will be the musical guest on the first episode of the All That reboot on Nickelodeon on June 15th. A documentary about the band’s comeback, titled “Chasing Happiness,” will release on Amazon Prime on June 4th.
