On August 26, 1986, Cassie Elizabeth Ventura was born in New London, Connecticut. Raised by her Filipino father and African-American, Mexican, and West Indian mother, Cassie was an extremely bright young girl. Her parents enrolled her at the Williams School, which is a preparatory academy, located on the Connecticut College campus. At 14, she began modeling, and by 16, she was modeling for local department stores, Delia’s fashion catalog and Seventeen magazine. Cassie graduated high school in 2004 and never went to college. Instead, she moved to New York City and began classes at the Broadway Dance Center. Cassie would eventually sign to Wilhelmina Models. She is currently still represented by them.

Cassie met recording artist Ryan Leslie, after trying to break into the entertainment industry from being a longtime model. Cassie states the two were having fun and recording songs when Ryan said to her, “Let’s put this on MySpace.” From there, the model turned singer’s career became an overnight sensation. It was Ryan who introduced her to her next famous fling, Diddy. It is unclear when or why Ryan and Cassie broke up, but the “Diamond Girl” singer has kept his love life private since. His last known relationship was with the Tunisian model, Kenza Fourati.

When he heard her hit single, “Me and You” in the club one night, Diddy became adamant about finding out who the artist and producer of this song was. After asking around, he got in contact with Ryan Leslie. Ryan’s entertainment label, Next Selection Lifestyle Group, collaborated with Diddy’s record label, Bad Boy Records to sign Cassie as an artist. In August 2006, Cassie’s self-titled debut release came out. A year later, Diddy and Cassie were reported to have been an item, but, the two never spoke publicly about the relationship. In October 2018, Cassie and Diddy announced they had broken up. After 11 years together, the couple shared no kids and were never engaged or married. Sources to the fellow exes expressed that “The split was amicable and that they will always remain friends.” A month later, Diddy lost the mother of his five children, Kim Porter and Cassie was right by his side. He last known fling was with the Canadian model, Jocelyn Chew.

After randomly ending her relationship with Diddy, Cassie quickly moved on and began dating his fitness trainer, Alex Fine. Sources close to the couple say that the two are expecting a bundle of joy soon. The couple has yet to confirm this.
