When you hear about your fav celebrity couples, like Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds or Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, it’s hard to believe Deadpool was married to Black Widow or that the reality star eloped a music producer years before Keeping Up With the Kardashians. When speaking to Andy Cohen during the June 13, 2018 episode of Radio Andy, Sophia admitted she felt pressure to marry Chad. “How old was it? I don’t even know. It was like the second season,” Sophia said. “But everyone’s been 22 and stupid, you know?”

Before marrying current wife Jada Pinkett Smith, the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air alum was married to actress and fashionista Sheree Zampino from 1992 to 1995, sharing son Trey, 26. Jada, who shares 20-year-old Jaden and 18-year-old Willow with Will, now has a friendship with Sheree and she was even the first guest on Jada’s Facebook Watch talk show Red Table Talk. “I thought it was important to have that conversation because she was my entry point to motherhood,” Jada told PEOPLE. “I was co-mothering with her. At that particular time, before [having a blended family] was popular, before it was even an idea, we were trying to create something that we had never experienced.”

Years before the famous Brangelina relationship, Angelina Jolie was married Monster’s Ball actor Billy Bob Thornton from 2000 to 2002. During an episode of HFPA in Conversation in 2018, Billy Bob got candid about his highly-publicized marriage to Angelina saying, “I look at that time as a great time. Angie is still a friend of mine, and she’s a great person, and she’s done so much.” The actor also spoke about the coverage of the relationship, admitting “a lot of the things they said about us at the time were exaggerated. It wasn’t as crazy as people wrote it.”
5) Katy Perry & Russell Brand

In a February 2019 interview with Paper magazine, Katy opened up about her marriage to Russell saying, “I’m very pragmatic and logistical, and I am less fantastical about things. I mean, I was married when I was 25. I’m 34. It was almost 10 years ago.” She continued, “I was like, ‘One person for the rest of my life,’ and I’m not so sure that that idea is for me. She cited irreconcilable differences in their divorce papers, but the two still remain close friends. “It’s so crazy that we are literally the best of friends. There was a lack of warmth between them, that was troubling…He said it sounded like she was yelling at him every time she talked to him.” Ryan is now famously married to Blake Lively, with whom he shares two daughters, with a third baby on the way, and Scarlett recently got engaged to SNL writer Colin Jost.

Jim and Lauren met when Lauren auditioned for a role in Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. The two married in a mountaintop ceremony in 1996 but got divorced only nine months later. In 2016, Lauren revealed that the media attention on their separation was difficult for her saying, “When it ended it was really hard for me. First of all, I was incredibly sad, and I felt like everybody knew. I felt like they felt sorry for me or something, you know?”
