With summer now in full effect, people are beginning to prepare for the most patriotic holiday of the year, 4th of July. With preconceived plans of partying and celebrating either on the beach or a back yard barbeque, there is always much anticipation for this particular Federal Holiday. This being said, if you are waiting for anticipated delivery of those cute, summer clothes and finds, they will have to wait an extra day. Like the 4th of July, every year on a US federal holidays, non-essential federal government offices are closed and employees are paid for the holiday.
In further preparation for getting those summer bargains in on time, here is a go-to guide for when you can expect carriage of those deals.
All federal offices, including post offices, will be closed for Independence Day in order for those in service to be paid while still enjoying the federal holiday. However, while USPS, UPS, and FedEx are closed, FedEx offices will be open on limited hours in order to ensure operations still continue to run smoothly.
