Rather than competing with other celebrity beauty brands such as Fenty Beauty and Kylie Cosmetics, Brown is entering her own category. Millie Bobby Brown is marketing to young people like herself, unlike other celebrities who focus women of all ages.
When asked about the name of her brand, Millie Bobby Brown told WWD that Florence pays homage to her great-grandmother. She then combined the name Mills, which is Brown’s family nickname.
The young actress is coming out with a total of fifteen products. This includes a See You Never Concealer, Like A Light Skin Tint and a Zero Chill Face Mist. The price of the products will range from $10 to $34. All of these products are certified by PETA as cruelty-free and vegan. The product line will be sold online and in stores at Ulta Beauty and Boots UK. The products will be available on August 26, 2019.
In her Instagram post announcing the line, Millie Bobby Brown shares her excitement about the products that she has been working on for two years. This essentially means she has been doing this since she was thirteen, which is extremely impressive. Her caption reads:
“so here is is, florence by mills. literally the love of my life, i cant begin to explain the love i have for this and how hard but crazy excited i was to create it. 2 years of creating a beauty and skincare brand jeez…that’s a long time to keep a secret but now i can finally share the news with you all !!” She then continues on to thank her followers for their love and support.
