The tweet appears after news of 24 years old Tevin Biles-Thomas, her brother, was arrested August 29, 2019, and taken into custody around 3:30 P.M. People Magazine reported.
Tevin Biles-Thomas is on active duty in the U.S. Army and currently stationed at Fort Stewart in Georgia. According to a statement by Cleveland police, Tevin Biles has been charged with murder, voluntary manslaughter, felonious assault, and perjury. “The investigators within the Cleveland Police Homicide Unit remained committed to securing an arrest in this tragic case,” Cleveland police Chief Calvin D. Williams said in a statement. “We appreciate our partnership with the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office and are confident that their efforts will bring justice for the families affected by this terrible incident.”
December 31, 2018, is the day three people lost their lives. Delvante Johnson, 19, Toshaun Banks, 21, and Devaughn Gibson, 23, were killed at a New Year’s Eve party that took place at 11:30 P.M. in Ohio. Tevin was involved in the incident that also left two wounded. According to WKYC-TV, someone hosted a New Years Eve party at an apartment, which operated as an Airbnb when an uninvited group entered. Altercations started before gunshots were heard. Currently, he is at the Liberty County Jail in Georgia. It is unknown when he will be extradited to Northeast Ohio. Biles-Thomas is scheduled to be arraigned September 13.
