Ellis Ross is completely immersing her toes in the hair-care industry again. The award-winning actress and activist will be launching her own line for 3B to 4C curls, Pattern, on Sept. 9.
On Sept. 3, the activist posted an ad for her hair line on Instagram where she appears naked and with the message “sometimes is all about the hair.”

On that same post Ross revealed that she has been dreaming to release her own hair-care line for curls and coils for 20 years and that she has spent 10 years making this product.
The products are set to launch on Sept. 9 on Patternbeauty.com. Her brand includes shampoos, three different kinds of conditioners (the conditioners are bigger than the shampoos packaging), two oil serums, a brush, a microfiber towel and a hair clip.

Ross declared that she struggled with her Afro-texture hair and that Pattern is the culmination of that struggle, according to Allure.
The actress, which has made her hair type her signature look, is aiming to feel the gap in the hair-care market by providing affordable and large bottles of hair products for curls, coils and textured hair.
The 3-ounce shampoo and conditioners bottles start at $9. The products also come in 13 and 29-ounces with the largest size costing $42 per bottle. The two hair oil serums are $25, the hair clip $20, the brush for $10 and $19 for the microfiber towel, reports Teen Vogue
On 2015, Ross partnered with the high end hair care product company, Optimum Amla Legend, known for catering to multicultural women. The company creates products infused with amlan oil, derived from the Indian fruit with the same name. The oil is known to have antioxidant and rejuvenating properties that intensely nourishes and conditions hair strands.
The announcement of Ross’ Pattern hair-care line has caused a positive uproar in social media with multiple women with natural curls appraising the products.
