Last year, two grooms celebrated tying the knot in the most clever and creative way possible. Since their wedding was in the middle of October, they decided to mix fall items with Halloween for their big day.
Brad and Rafael decided to throw a wedding that contained the rustic details of fall with the spooky details of Halloween. The details, which were cleverly executed, went beyond just having some yellow and orange leafs thrown around and a skeleton somewhere in the corner, Popsugar writes.
Everything from the flower girl’s dress, which was a print of candy corn, to the invitations that illustrated iconic Halloween figures, was a culmination of fall’s true essence.
“From an on-season color scheme, to bat-shaped cloth napkins at every seat, to even guests who were game to add some Halloween touches to their own outfits, this wedding was truly unique,” said Photographer Michael Farmer of the wedding.
The wow factor of this wedding is that there was a perfect balance. It was apparent that it was a fall-themed wedding, but yet so subtly, they added those Halloween touches that made the event much livelier.
They kept the classiness to a maximum but allowed their guests to add a little touch of Halloween to their attires.
The overall vibe was one of coziness and chilliness and the cake looked pleasingly somber, yet delicious.
The bouquet is the most special part of every wedding, and for this one, it was the binding component where fall and Halloween details mingled so peacefully. They had nonetheless than pumpkins for centerpieces with yellow and orange flowers and it looked so charming and mesmerizing.
The best word to describe this wedding will be whimsical because it was the perfect balance between playfulness and fanciness.
