The world seems to have been cut in half: those who care about the environment and those who don’t give a damn. A group of youngsters led by climate activist, Greta Thunberg, have been very outspoken about their inheritance: a climate disaster.
According to Mandatory, the group of kids and Greta have filed a lawsuit against FIVE COUNTRIES in regards of climate change. Yep, planet earth is headed towards difficult times is something is not done soon according to science.
The lawsuit is a signal of how desperate we are for climate change reform since the volatile changes and other weather catastrophes clearly caused by climate change has not been enough to grab world leaders’ attention to this issue.
If you want to be part of the climate strike movement and try to stir earth towards a healing path, start by changing your daily habits.
1. No more plastic

Plastic is not environmentally friendly. Avoid using plastic as much as you can.
2. Adopt a vegetarian diet or cut down on meat

According to Mandatory, one pound of meat requires as much water as the equivalent of showering for six months.
3. Have reusables

Have tote bags for grocery shopping, bring your own mug to get coffee, and your own reusable containers to put leftover food in. You might feel that you are going too far with it, but trust me you have to. Time can’t be wasted.
4. Shop in thrift stores

Fashion trends come and go, so what you need for your wardrobe it’s most likely out there in a thrift shop.
5. Support mom and pop stores

Chain stores pollute a lot. Stimulate local economy, cut down pollution from industrialization, marketing and goods transportation by supporting local businesses.
6. Spread the word
