Bella Hadid is Named Most Beautiful Woman – According to Science

If science is involved, then it must be true, right?

23-year-old supermodel, Bella Hadid has been declared the most beautiful woman. According to the Daily Mail, cosmetic surgeon Dr. Julian De Silva has made this declaration based on the “science” of the Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi.

It might sound a bit bizarre but the Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi is a mathematical measure of physical perfection derived from the “golden ratio” that artists and architects used during the European Renaissance to map out their masterpieces. Hadid was found to be 94.35% ‘accurate’ to the Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi – which measures physical perfection. Her eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips, chin, jaw and facial shape were measured and her results were closest to the ancient Greeks’ idea of perfection.

Other celebrities were also measured and ranked using the Golden Ratio. Beyonce came in second place with a score of 92.44%, Amber Heard was third with 91.85% and Ariana Grande was fourth with 91.81%.

Since beauty is in the eye of the beholder, many of Beyonce’s fans strongly disagree with this “scientific statement:”

Regardless of the feud over who is better looking, both women are beautiful. They had nothing to do with these “scientific results” and neither should be attacked over it. Also, where are the “scientific results” behind rating men on their good looks?
