Best known for her lead role as Lara Jean Covey in To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before and Jubilee in X-Men: Apocalypse, Lana Condor burst into the spotlight charming us with her endearing smile and bubbly personality. It’s no surprise then that rumors quickly started to circulate that Condor and her To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before co-star Noah Centineo were dating. However, Condor quickly denounced the rumors, stating the two actors had a mutual agreement to be “best-friend professionals.” As much as fans were rooting for the chemistry between the actors to carry into an off-screen romance, Condor has a history with another boy she has loved before.
Anthony De LaTorre
Since August 2015, Condor has been in a relationship with Anthony De LaTorre, an American actor, singer, songwriter, and guitarist. LaTorre is best known for playing a young Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales and Jan Axel Blomberg in Lord of Chaos. The two met at a Hollywood event when LaTorre pitched to her, “‘Hey, I’m Anthony. I thought I’d make a good friend.” Condor sheepishly admitted to Us Weekly that the line “worked,” and it’s been sparks ever since!

Just like in Condor’s hit Netflix romantic comedy, De LaTorre also enjoys writing love letters. He regularly writes to her, a romantic gesture he’s been doing since the two first started dating. Condor remarked that she keeps them all and often returns the favor!
Relationship Trolls
In February 2019, Condor revealed to Cosmo the negative repercussions that To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before had on her relationship with De LaTorre. Fans of the film left hateful comments on De LaTorre’s old Instagram posts with him and Condor together. At one point, the outpour of hate was so unbearable that he deactivated comments on his account. Condor was no safer and consistently received comments, including “where’s Noah?” and “why are you cheating on Noah?” Condor expressed her sadness and disappointment regarding the situation, stating, “If you say you support me, why would you hurt someone I love?” Thankfully, the couple has managed to work past the trolls, refusing to let anyone damage their special connection.

To celebrate their four-year anniversary the couple set sail on a ship in Vancouver in August 2019, enjoying rosé, charcuterie and dancing to De LaTorre’s song from the 13 Reasons Why season 3 soundtrack. If that’s not already sweet enough, De LaTorre wrote the song for his girlfriend of four years, calling it “Know Me.” Condor captured the romantic day on her Instagram story, writing, “this song is the best present you could’ve given me.”
