You can kiss any hope of Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth getting back together goodbye. After announcing their split earlier this year, Miley has been spotted with a handful of new love interests. Most recently, she’s been frolicking around with boyfriend Cody Simpson.
That seems to have been too much for Hemsworth which led to the two unfollowing each other on Instagram — and we all know that is a major deal in the celebrity gossip world.
But all love is not lost. Despite Hemsworth and Cyrus taking their split to Instagram, Liam still follows Miley’s sister Noah and father Billy Ray Cyrus, while Miley still follows Liam’s brother Chris Hemsworth.
The two initially announced their split back in August.
Prior to their split, Miley had voiced her own struggles with fitting into the traditional wife role.
“My relationship is unique. And I don’t know that I would ever publicly allow people in there because it’s so complex, and modern, and new that I don’t think we’re in a place where people would get it,” she told Elle. “I mean, do people really think that I’m at home in a (expletive) apron cooking dinner? I’m in a hetero relationship, but I still am very sexually attracted to women.”
Following their split, Miley had a brief relationship with Brody Jenner’s ex-girlfriend Kaitlynn Carter — who she has also unfollowed — before settling on Simpson. Hemsworth, meanwhile, has been seen getting cozy with Dynasty star Maddison Brown.
