If you forgot, the Weeknd (Abel Tesfaye) and Selena Gomez dated about 10 months in 2017. Gomez recently released two new songs dedicated to her ex, Justin Bieber. Is it possible that the Weeknd is doing the same with her?
E! News reported that according to the ASCAP website, The Weeknd just registered a new song called “Like Selena,” and everyone is over here like, “hmmm, I wonder who that could be about.”

This is the only post on his page because he recently returned from a social media break. He also uploaded the photo to Instagram Stories with the caption, “Tomorrow night we start again.” Fans are speculating what this could mean

It’s unclear whether the singer will drop an entire album or just the song “Like Selena”, but nonetheless, fans are excited for whatever the Weekend has in store for them.

The Weeknd and Gomez reportedly broke up because of distance. A source told E!, “It’s been hard for them to come to the realization that this is the direction things were heading, but it’s been hard for months. They have been open and honest about it and where they were going. Distance definitely played a factor.”
