Yes, you read that right! Everyone loves those tacky, ugly Christmas sweaters. They’re fun and festive for the holiday season. But sometimes those sweaters go a little too far. Anyone else thinks that Santa doing cocaine is the perfect message for Christmas? No? Well, this third-party seller for Walmart Canada certainly did!
Walmart Canada recently removed the sweater from its website after realizing how inappropriate it is. The men’s sweater depicted a Santa sitting in front of three neatly packed rows of white powder. “Let It Snow” was printed below, and the sweater was stippled with snowflakes. Yeah, because everyone just gathers their snow and arranges them into neatly packed rows, especially Santa.
If that’s not enough proof it was Santa doing cocaine, then you’ll surely be convinced by the description for the product that was written by the third-party seller, FUN Wear: “We all know how snow works. It’s white, powdery and the best snow comes straight from South America. That’s bad news for jolly old St. Nick, who lives far away in the North Pole. That’s why Santa really likes to savor the moment when he gets his hands on some quality, grade A, Colombian snow. He packs it in perfect lines on his coffee table and then takes a big whiff to smell the high-quality aroma of the snow.”

Still think it’s an innocent Christmas sweater??
After Twitter made this sweater go viral, Walmart Canada released a statement to Global News: “These sweaters, sold by a third-party seller on Walmart.ca, do not represent Walmart’s values and have no place on our website. We have removed these products from our marketplace. We apologize for any unintended offense this may have caused.”
Walmart Canada also removed other Christmas sweaters produced by third-party-vendors that were too inappropriate. Much of the designs were not family-friendly, including one design where Father Christmas was put into a whole lot of sexual scenarios.
These sweaters are definitely attention-grabbers, but not so much in the kind of way that screams “Christmas Spirit.” The attention you’ll receive is not the kind you’ll want at a family holiday party or an office holiday party!
