- Try to define your style – Many believe it is impossible to wear an awesome look without branded and expensive clothing. Before anything, think about the style of clothes. Consider the clothes you want to wear daily. Think of both classroom dressing and also the evenings when you may go out with the other students on some days at least. Consider the dresses you want to wear during the weekends. Do also keep in mind the college you will be going to and its culture.
- Make skincare a priority – We should all have supple and healthy skin. It should shine without any highlighter. This is why it is so important that you use the right skincare products. Do not just purchase expensive products only because the marketing makes you think they will work. It may not work for you, even if it has worked for your friend. Consider what will work for your skin. A gentle cleanser, moisturizer, and antioxidant-rich serum work very well for most people. It is also a good idea to apply a decent face mask.
- Don’t forget sports – Play a sport. If you haven’t played before, then you can pick it up during your college days. When you play with others and join a team, it will surely help you bond better with them. Playing together builds team spirit and improves confidence. And, of course, playing a sport is always good for health. Stay healthy and you will certainly look and feel better.
- Get a procedure for face and body – Get a good haircut, preferably a style that goes well with the shape of your body. Get a manicure and pedicure as well. Make sure to visit the salon once every month to get these procedures done. They will make you look more beautiful. If you have extra weight, then you can also consider CoolSculpting. This is a non-invasive fat removal process where there are no needles, incisions, or anesthesia. CoolSculpting for double chin removal is sure to make you look better. Many overweight people have double chins, which make them look even more bulky.
- Get enough sleep – Many don’t think there is any relationship between looking pretty and sleeping. The fact is that, you will have bright eyes and a healthy complexion if you get adequate sleep. Also, you may have puffy eyes and bags under the eyes if you sleep for too little. So, try to sleep for at least 8 every in the night. Always darken the room and keep your mobile phone away when you are sleeping.
- Makeup – Less is always more when it comes to makeup. You are not going to a party, so why apply so much? Makeup in a style that makes you feel comfortable. You can apply a basic makeup like a blush and concealer. The concealer will cover up the blemishes. Blend this with a makeup sponge. Apply one that matches the tone of your skin. You can also apply gloss because it will make you look fresh. A good but basic makeup will make your skin look smooth.

- Clothes – Don’t buy too much. Many students often make the mistake of purchasing an entire wardrobe for their college days and then end up not needing most of the clothes. Consider what you already have and what you should carry to college. The red dress you have is surely awesome. But will you get a chance to wear it? Never spend your entire money on clothing. Only purchase what you truly need and carry a limited number of dresses. This will ensure that there is no storage crisis as well. Take care of clothes to make sure that they last a long time.
- Have fun with your footwear – Not just the dresses, you must also plan for the accessories and footwear. What are you going to wear to the class, what will you wear in the hostel, and when you are outside? Ideally, you may want to match the footwear with the color and style of your dress. But remember, you are a student and on a limited budget. So, carry the basic stuff, once more. Casual sneakers are very comfortable. You can easily walk through the campus wearing them. Good quality sneakers are also extremely versatile. Slides, mules, and flat sandals are also perfect, especially if you are late, and must run for your class. Comfort boots and loafers are also good.
- Find a routine – Routine is very important during the college days. It will help you stay organized, plan ahead, study better, and also have fun. Go to bed early (except those days when you are partying with your friends☺), wake up early, eat healthy, and get enough exercise.
- Teamwork is essential – Work with your friends and everyone else. Remember, teamwork is important. Ask for help whenever you need it and offer help to others. Study with friends. All of you can help each other. Teach someone. Build a reputation because it will help you build an impression. Everyone is going to recognize and remember you if you can create a positive impression.
The college days are often the best days in our lives. Those who have passed college have fond memories. Do the right things and you will look pretty and enjoy these golden years.
