Having to balance the fun of college, and the anxiety of studying can be difficult, but there are ways to relax. Here are 5 ways to reduce stress while studying!

1. Practice Mindfulness

Next time you feel stressed while studying, take a moment for mindfulness. It will help you calm down and recenter yourself so stress feels less overwhelming.

One of the simplest mindfulness exercises is focusing on your breathing. Get comfortable, close your eyes, and when you breathe out think “out”. When you breathe in think “in.” Your mind will wander but don’t beat yourself up about it. Just gently bring your focus back to your breathing.
