I’m not sure about you, but my skin goes absolutely haywire in winter. And it doesn’t just dry out; it breaks out like mad! The only thing that seems to keep pimples and flakes at bay is constant manual and chemical exfoliation, so I was excited to try Eve Lom Rescue Mask.
Lom promises this mask is for when “your skin is blotchy, suffers from irritable break-outs, jet-lag, or morning-after puffiness” – a universal quick fix or maintenance product!
How To Use It:
As with all Eve Lom products, the Rescue Mask comes with detailed instructions:
-Shake well or stir the product with the spatula (this depends on whether you purchase the tube or tub)
-Apply a medium-to-thick layer to cleansed, dry skin, avoiding the eye area.
-Leave to set for approximately 20 minutes.
-Remove by gently buffing the dry mask with your fingers using small upward circular motions, then rinse well with tepid water using a damp Muslin Cloth (included)

After using the Eve Lom Rescue Mask for about a month, I have definitely seen an improvement. The kaolin clay has helped restore oil balance, reduce redness, and clear up my pimples, while the honey softens my skin at the time! The mask has tiny granules in it that when paired with the muslin cloth, nicely reveal a new layer of skin.
The only downside is the rather steep price: $50 for a 1.6oz tube or $85 for a 3.3oz tub. Even with the tub, that breaks down to around $26 an oz. Compared to other popular face masks, the Rescue Masks is quite an investment. On the other hand, it worked for me and you don’t need to apply much; I anticipate that the tub would last about 6 months with weekly application.
If you are looking for something to help heal your winter or acne-related skin woes, I’d recommend you get a tester of the Eve Lom Rescue Mask. If you’re happy with those results, the full size 3.3oz tub is an investment you won’t soon regret! You can pick up both sizes from Sephora.
