Who knew bread, sauce and cheese would be the universally adored and binged upon food of 21st century? Even at the Academy Awards last night Ellen knew the key to achieving the perfect selfie was by bribing the hottest celebs with delicious, delicious pizza nectar. I am one of the few people on the planet who doesn’t like good pizza. The only pizza I am willing to ingest is the chemically laden and artificially enhanced franken-pizzas from Dominos. I’ve detested mozzarella cheese since I choked on it as a kid (twice in a row) and had to get the heimlich maneuver by my brother. Pizza, you see, nearly killed me. Yet, upon seeing these beautifully crafted pizzas I couldn’t help but flashback to a simpler time when my lunch wasn’t trying to murder me. I have no idea how anyone can perfectly place toppings so that even after the cheese has melted they remain beautifully in place to create an elaborate design but I appreciate that there are people with enough time and skill to figure it out.
