Is Your School Desirable?

Remember the list of underrated schools from a few weeks back? Some of you weren’t too happy about the listings…and I get it. Just because a school isn’t an Ivy or on the top half of the “Best Colleges” lists doesn’t mean that it’s not as important. To be fair, Business Insider followed up with a list of schools that are considered the most desirable “based on the number of applications they receive each year.” Surprisingly, the top five schools with the most applicants aren’t Ivies…the list is a combination of popular private and state schools. The list isn’t anything that’s too surprising – most of the institutions are recognizable. But any student knows that their educational experience is based on more than a big name. Applications and acceptance rates don’t make a school great…the students do. Take a look at the list and weigh in. Do you attend one of the Desirables? Is your school worthy of its listing?
