I don’t know about you, but I am not about to spend $200 on a bathing suit.
I mean, those things are tiny. And no matter what I do, mine always end up discolored and nasty after pool/hot tub time. Granted, there are some beautiful swimsuits that go for lots and lots of money. Like this belle from Pucci: the price is capital ‘A’ absurd but damn, it’s hot. Those of us who refuse to drop $570 on a suit are still in luck though. Why? One word: Target.
Admittedly, I’ve never understood the Target obsession. I definitely don’t think I’m above shopping there, and I do own some basics from there myself. I’ve just never been bowled over by the style, fit and/or quality of anything I’ve come across at Target, though. BUT while perusing the store’s swimsuit selection I realized that Target is sort where it’s at – ‘it’ being cute yet, affordable swimsuits.
These suits are really fairly priced and the best part is that most of them are just the right amount of revealing. They’re universally flattering, colorful and fun. They even have great one pieces that won’t make you look like a grandma or a stripper (I feel like almost all one piece suits fall into one of those two categories). Bikini girls are still in luck, though – they make really cute affordable two-pieces as well. Need proof? Check out these fab finds.
