Lilly Pulitzer has some mythical power to inject a bit of prepster class into every wardrobe it enters. Those pretty-as-a-picture pastel prints are just so damn country club. And then there’s Hanky Panky, an lingerie brand known for making very pretty but very uncomfortable-looking lacey little unmentionables. Their stuff is pretty freakin’ sexy without veering all the way into slutty territory.
What happens when these two (admittedly very different) brands collide? The minds of sorority girls EXPLODE.
The Pulitzer/Panky union is just sort of perfect for the girl who can get straight A’s and chug straight vodka. Merchandise photos have not been released yet, but I imagine the line will blend the innocent charm of LP with the feminine sexiness of HP. My other prediction for this line? It’s going to be very, very colorful.
