It’s not uncommon to want attention, especially of the male variety. I mean, come on. If you’ve been in the gym working on your fitness, you want someone to notice and possibly appreciate that. If you put extra effort into your hair, makeup and outfit then yes, damn it, someone better recognize. But speaking for myself, sometimes it feels like all that energy and effort goes unnoticed. Sometimes it feels like I’m stepping out and trying to be presentable for other girls (and duh, myself) versus the guys. They’re not going to notice if I changed my perfume or if I got a fabulous new lip gloss. All they see is the two b’s – booty and boobs. Or maybe not.
