Though I graduated from college in South Carolina, I did my freshman year in the wonderful city of Washington, DC. And you know what? I can tell you there’s nowhere else quite like it, especially if you’re an ambitious, driven — and okay, sometimes hungover — college student. Studying in the Library of Congress, attending events at the Kennedy Center, shopping in Georgetown, getting drunk right outside the White House while secret service agents ask you to please move along…ain’t no thang. It’s all par for the course when you go to school in America’s greatest college town.
