A boxer with a bloody nose, an insecure middle schooler, the iconic transwoman Laverne Cox taking off her makeup, a pregnant woman looking at her belly and another woman viewing her mastectomy scars stare at themselves and back at us. It’s so on the nose and yet it totally works. Why shouldn’t body positivity and feminism be a trend and why shouldn’t it be embraced by male and women pop stars alike? Even I knew what I was getting into when I watched it and I still got the goosebumpy ,emotional feelz.
