By now we’ve all heard that Allure magazine essentially insinuated that Lauren Conrad is basic. Refresher: Their recent “Beauty and the Beat” feature categorizes women by their style profiles, and listed an image of LC under the ‘basic’ column. They went on to call her remarkably unremarkable and say she’s the kind of girl who would wear sausage curls (sorry, no. I think you’re thinking of Honey Boo Boo, Allure).
In my opinion, though, Lauren is completely remarkable. She’s ridiculously successful, stupidly beautiful and has seriously fabulous taste. And while Allure may deem her style ‘basic’ or ‘boring,’ I’ve always really loved Lauren’s clothes, hair and the way she carries them. Do these 10 photos make you think like I do?
