Last week reports were beginning to surface that Kendall Jenner, everyone’s favorite it girl, skipped out on a bill. When the waitress chased Jenner down she reportedly threw money at her and walked away. Now Jenner is threatening to sue that waitress for defamation.
According to TMZ, Kendall Jenner’s lawyer Marty Singer said that Jenner was in fact at the restaurant and she did accidentally leave without paying her bill. However, the rest of the story is lies. The waitress chased Jenner down and when she realized that she forgot to pay her bill she gave the waitress the $33 for the dinner and a $7 tip that she “politely handed” to the waitress.
The letter from Singer to the waitress stated, “”Although you are working as a waitress at Mercer Kitchen, I understand you are also a struggling actress,” adding, “You no doubt concocted a fictionalized account of your encounter with my client in order to create publicity for yourself.”
Who knows what to believe? Part of me thinks that Kendall could be a diva, but at the same time she is going to lofty lengths to defend herself. Although, that’s the Kardashian way, isn’t it?
