Shots were fired last night at the 10AK club, where Chris Brown was hosting a Pre-VMA party, was early Sunday morning around 1:30 am. Record producer and CEO of Black Kapital Records, Suge Knight, was shot six times and rushed into surgery. TMZ is reporting that although Knight is still in the ICU, he is expected to recover. Three others also suffered minor injuries.
The evening started off with tension as reports flew in about an altercation with the Game outside of the club that prevented him from getting into the party. Reports from TMZ are stating that the altercation was related to gang violence and Chris Brown, The Game, and Knight are all affiliated with the Bloods. TMZ is also stating that Brown performed wearing a red bandana, a notorious Bloods symbol, and was throwing gang signs throughout his performance.
The police are investigating the gang connections and the story is developing. Thankfully Knight will recover and nobody else was gravely injured.
