Watch Beyoncé's 16-Minute MTV VMA Performance And Be Slayed

Beyoncé accepted her 2014 MTV VMA Video Vanguard Award and in the process slayed my life, slayed America and slayed some dragons too, probably. The 16-minute medley featured every track from BEYONCÉ. All the best tracks from “Flawless,” “Blow,” “Drunk In Love,” to “XO,” “Haunted,” and “Partition.”
The VMAs this year were pretty tame. There was no Madonna and Britney kiss. No Kanye interrupting Taylor Swift. No Miley twerking on Robin Thicke. There wasn’t any “OMG” moment and as the night went on we restlessly waited for Bey to perform. She closed the night and boy did she deliver. Every time she danced my heart skipped a beat. Jay Z and Blue Ivy later came on stage to give her the award. Bey burst into tears and then the family walked off the stage together like some burst of pure joy and excellence. Praise the Queen.
