“I am a woman of my word,” Wendy Williams says after swallowing a bite of crow gumbo. That she is. In extremely absurd news, Wendy Williams has literally eaten a crow because Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s marriage has been going strong for 114 days.
“If I am wrong and they actually get married I will eat crow with a lot of hot sauce,” Wendy declared last June. Boy, was she so wrong. After protesting that Kimye’s marriage wouldn’t outlast Kim’s 73-day marriage to Kris Humphries, she lived up to her word and the turn of phrase, “eat crow.”
Just think about how absurd the entire thing is. A grown woman for no real reason, despite any real evidence, assumed that two other consenting adults’ marriage would end but because she was wrong she had to eat a crow on live television. Has America become a parody of itself? Yes.
As she says, crow is a delicacy in Lithuania and September is crow season—guess it’s time we all stock up on crow. Learn from this, ladies, that’s what you get for being a hater: a mouthful of odd bird.
