All across the internet women have been speaking out against sexism, from the recent video calling out street harassment to the #YesAllWomen hashtag, women are gathering online to share stories of their experiences with sexism and vowing to work against it. Tumblr even has its own collection of feminist blogs dedicated to giving women a voice online.
When Women Refuse
This Tumblr is absolutely terrifying. A collection of user submitted anecdotes and news stories that describe the often violent, sometimes deadly consequences of saying no to a guy’s advances.
Stop the Catcall
A Tumblr dedicated to showing what women were wearing when they were the victims of street harassment, which so far includes a Little House on the Prairie style dress and a long lab coat over scrubs.
