If Instagram has taught me anything, it is that Thursdays are for nostalgia – and if there’s one thing that comes to mind when I think of beauty-related nostalgia, it’s Lipsmackers. Not only were those my very first ‘makeup’ purchases, they were also just straight up iconic. I may have abandoned these little goodies in the past 10 plus years but that doesn’t mean I’ve forgotten about them. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Lipsmackers make a sneaky comeback in the next few months. After all, the nineties are back in full force and nothing represents the 90s like a line of scented drugstore chapsticks.
For those of you who weren’t old enough to shop in the psuedo-cosmetics aisle when Lipsmackers were in their prime, these are so worth grabbing. They may not be the greatest chopsticks in terms of hydration but they smell awesome and look so cute and they definitely have the nostalgic factor down like nothing else.
Since I am an old person, I’m only familiar with the old school flavors (none of this Girl Scout cookie-flavored nonsense) but I’m familiar enough with those classics to rank them. Which is your fave?
