And okay, there are definitely many different ways to be a ‘real’ man – but Schmidt is on to something here. These days, being a man isn’t only about being a big, boorish, sports-crazed beer guzzler. There are so many different ways to express masculinity and honestly? There’s something about a guy who throws the traditional notions of manliness out the window. Metro men are pretty awesome and here are a few reasons why they’re totally worth dating.
1.) They always smell good.

Say goodbye to those days of ‘umm….you’re planning on wearing that?”

Bonus points if they give you honest opinions about the stuff you’re thinking about buying.
4.) They’re well groomed.
A guy who tweezes his brows > a guy with awful brows.
5.) They won’t judge you for taking hours to get ready.
They understand the importance of primping, too.
6.) They’re usually super secure in their sexuality.
There’s nothing better than a guy who knows there is nothing funny about homophobic jokes.
7.) They can introduce you to sweet new products.
That unisex exfoliant he has in his bathroom? Amazing.
8.) Their clothes will look great on you too.
There’s nothing like a good slim-fit men’s shirt tucked into your jeans.
9.) They even have the best loungewear.
Those chenille sweatpants are on point.
10.) They usually have great taste.
Not just in clothes but in restraints, gifts, wine, etc. Sophistication is nice.
