A small plane that was piloted by Star War’s actor, Harrison Ford, has crashed into a golf club in Los Angeles, California this Thursday.
72-year-old Ford is a longtime aviator and was flying solo at the moment of the accident. The actor later was rushed to the hospital, The Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed. Ford’s condition has since been described as “fair to moderate”
Assistant Fire Chief Pat Butler said “We are very thankful that the passenger, from what appears right now, had moderate injuries, but also it was in an area … that didn’t impact any homes,” he said. “These generally turn out quite traumatic but I can report that the patient left the scene conscious and breathing.”
