American Idol revealed this past Wednesday the top 12 contenders that will go on to the final rounds. Even though it seems soon, the show it is changing its format, and it is cutting short the amount of time where you got to meet the dozen of talented contestants.
But don’t worry, here we have all the info on the 12 finalist, plus their performance, to help you pick your favorite.
Who do you think is gonna win?
Adanna Duru
She was the last wild-card pick for the season, chosen by the judges for her powerful performance. Plus Duru is not new to this reality show signing competition. She was a contender on ‘The Voice’ on Adam Levine’s team. Her stint might have been brief, but now on ‘American Idol’ we see her again fighting for a place on the music industry.

Clark Beckham
This 22-year-old singer, despite being beloved by fans and certain critics, some of the judges haven’t been too kind to Beckham’s performances thus far. Watch his powerful performance of “It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World” by James Brown.

Daniel Seavey
He is one of the younger competitors, not only from Season 14 but from ‘American Idol’ in general at only 15 years old. Being this young has being and advantage and a disadvantage for Seavey. He is popular with the young ladies in the audience, but the judges are concerned about the maturity of his voice, that is still changing.

Jax
Jackie “Jax” Cole is already popular for her unique voice, performance and look. She’s got the voice to keep her in the competition, and a solid fan base.

Joey Cook
With one of the most unique performances of the night, this quirky girl from Virgina was the last one to get in thanks to the fans votes. She entertains the audience with unique performances, that don’t get boring. That must be why people are voting for her.

Maddie Walker
She is the country girl from Season 14, and after being eliminated from last year’s competition due to inexperience, the 17-year-old singer is back and doing better this time around.

Nick Fradiani
Fradiani is the oldest person in Season 14, at 29, and the public is expecting a lot from him, because of “experience”. He still hasn’t shined, we need to wait and see if the public gives him the time to do it or if his time gets cut short.

Qaasim Middleton
He’s been chastised by the judges in the past for masking his vocals with an incredible sense of showmanship. Middleton entertains the crowd, but he still has to prove he’s not in the competition to be just the hype man.

Quentin Alexander
He was the first wild-card picked by the judges, and we can tell that it was because of his rendition of Lorde’s “Royals” that convinced the crowd, but hopefully we still haven’t seen his best work yet, we’ll be waiting for more.

Rayvon Owen
This shy singer, has a lot of talent. But you need more than that to get the votes from the public and to still be on the competition. Hopefully, Owen will break out of his shell, because he is one of the most talented performers on the competition.

Sarina-Joi Crowe
She was the first announced Top 12 performer, and she is the one with the longest Idol history. Sarina-Joi tried out for each of the previous three seasons. She has the thrive, and the voice to go far in the competition.

Tyanna Jones
The 16 year old singer is talented but the judges are concerned that she is still not that experienced, and her singing could use some work in the coming weeks. But still this doesn’t mean that Jones cannot get better and learn, and be one though competitor to beat.
