Besides making the perfect soundtrack to a girls’ night out, Rihanna turns heads on every red carpet she steps foot on. That’s why it shouldn’t be a surprise that RiRi has been chosen as the face of Dior’s newest campaign, but this is a big deal. While other stars like Jennifer Lawrence and Charlize Theron have represented the French fashion brand in the past, this is the first time a black woman will be the center of a Dior campaign.
Rihanna’s contract includes a print campaign that will come out this spring shot by Steven Klein as well as the starring role in the brand’s “Secret Garden” series, shot at the beautiful Palace of Versailles in France.
It’s about time that Dior added some diversity, and who better than someone as unique as Rihanna? Congrats, girl!
