Sometimes all it takes to turn a bad idea into a good one is to add celebrities. The new show Lip Sync Battle added lots of celebrities performing hits by other celebrities in front of even more celebrities. In this new trailer for the Spike show, we get a preview of Anna Kendrick, Jimmy Fallon, The Rock, Jennifer Lopez, John Krasinski, John Legend, and more working it in ways once unimaginable. The show pits the stars against each other, and while no actual singing skills are necessary, it’s all about “giving the people what they want,” even if that means getting in a cage and dancing to Christina Aguilera’s “Dirrty.” To make it even better, LL Cool J hosts with Chrissy Teigen behind the bar (where she belongs).
I can guarantee there isn’t another show on TV where you can see The Rock sing along to every word of Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off.”
