Princeton Review Misquotes Taylor Swift Song

This is what the Princeton Review gets for trying to stay relevant.
In an effort to get kids to actually read the SAT practice test books that their parents buy them, the Princeton Review uses popular song lyrics to give lessons in grammar. “Pop lyrics are a great source of bad grammar,” the lesson reads before quoting Taylor Swift’s hit from 2008 “Fifteen.” Too bad the book misquotes the songstress.


While the practice test line reads, “Somebody tells you they love you, you got to believe ’em,” the correct lyrics are, “Somebody tells you they love you, you’re gonna believe them.”
Taylor responded to the error on her Tumblr page, saying “Not the right lyrics at all pssshhhh. You had one job, test people. One job.”
Seriously, you could have Googled the lyrics like any other tween, Princeton Review.
