Dreams Come True: Beyoncé & Jay Z Are Collaborating On An Album…But There's A Catch

Jay Z’s new music streaming service isn’t doing so hot. Even with tons of build-up, anticipation, and some of the biggest artists in the world coming together to support Tidal, so far it’s been a total flop. The music service promised to give more money to the artists making the music, but besides that, it wasn’t much different than other music players. Two weeks after Tidal briefly cracked the U.S. iPhone top 20 download chart, the app has crashed out of the top 700, while competitors Pandora and Spotify sit in the 3 and 4 spots, respectively.
So what’s a guy to do? Well, since he’s a huge artist, and his wife is arguably the hugest artist in the world, he’s going to make an album with her. Further proving that they’re the world’s coolest couple ever. But guess what…you’re only allowed to listen to it to Tidal. A Beyoncé & Jay Z album has been rumored for a while now, but it looks like Jay is pulling out all the stops to raise interest in Tidal. DJ Skee drops the bomb right around the 1:50 mark.

Taylor Swift’s music is only streaming on Tidal, but will this dream collaboration be enough to propel Tidal into the safe zone? It’s Beyoncé, so anything can happen, but I’m guessing those internet pirates will figure out ways to listen to Queen Bey and the hubby without Tidal.
