Mandy Moore Is Coming Back To TV With 'Tangled' Animated Series

Before the Frozen frenzy, there was another Disney princess movie that was just as good and way less hyped. Tangled was a new spin on the classic Rapunzel character made even better by her wit, varied interests, and gorgeous singing voice, lent by singer Mandy Moore. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tangled is coming to TV in 2017!
Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi will reprise their roles as Rapunzel and Flynn Rider (aka Eugene) respectively for the Disney Channel series. The show will start where the movie ended, with Rapunzel getting to know her parents, the king and queen, and being super excited about her relationship with Eugene. Instead of settling in to her new royal existence though, Rapunzel seeks out “epic adventures, much to the dismay of the king, who, after missing out on Rapunzel’s youth, must accept that his daughter is now an independent young woman.”
We’re hoping this means that somewhere along the line, there is singing. You can’t waste that voice, Mandy.

Babysitting is about to became a lot less painful.
