Besides from a short, pathetic stint on Dancing With the Stars last year (I still blame his partner for his elimination, but I’m mostly over it), Jonathan Bennett has been noticeably absent from our lives for the most part since his turn as hottie Aaron Samuels in Mean Girls. Fear not, girls who wear a shirt that says “I love Aaron” under all your clothes! Aaron Jonathan is coming back to television in the greatest way possible – to host the cooking show Cake Wars on Food Network.
Which poses the obvious question: Do you think Bennett will bake a cake filled with rainbows and smiles and everyone would eat and be happy?!
The show will pit four bakers against each other while they fight to win $10,000. But there’s a twist – these cakes includes some bizarre ingredients like sriracha, wasabi, and even sausage. It doesn’t sound great, but Bennett swears they’re delicious…and yes, he does get to try them all. #JobPerks
The 34 year old is thrilled to be a part of the new series set to premiere June 29 saying, “I like cake. Who doesn’t like cake? Cake is delicious.”
And there you have it, Jonathan Bennett is the perfect man. His hair looks sexy pushed back AND he’ll bring home the bacon-filled cake.
