Because it seems that the pop and rap world cannot have one quiet moment, Drake has fired back at Meek Mill, again, with yet another track. Meek Mill had accused Drake of using a ghostwriter for his lyrics on Meek Mill’s song, “R.I.C.O.” from his new album, Dreams Worth More Than Money. In response to this allegation, Drake fired back for the first time last Saturday by releasing the track “Charged Up” on “OVO Sound Radio.” Meek Mill responded in a fifteen second “response track” called “Beautiful Nightmare” where he only screamed.
In response, Drake has released yet another “diss track” via Twitter called “Back To Back Freestyle.” The track was posted to his Soundcloud, featuring an image of the Toronto Blue Jay Joe Carter basking in the glory of hitting the winning home run in the 1993 World Series against the Philadelphia Phillies. Meek Mill is from Philadelphia.
Can’t you children pipe down and knock this off? Thanks for the new music, but I don’t want to listen to something created with animosity in mind.
