Taylor Swift Eyes £4.6 Million Scottish Castle To Be Closer To Calvin Harris

You know, I wish I could just eye a £4.6 million (that’s approximately $5,070,000) Scottish castle with the intention to purchase it instead of living in dreamland and pretending I have the funds to purchase such a thing.
Taylor Swift is looking to purchase the Tower of Lethendy, a 16th century Scottish castle located 14 miles north of Perth. She is looking to buy a home in order to be close to her new boyfriend, Scottish producer and DJ, Calvin Harris. His family lives an hour’s drive away from the castle in Edinburgh.
The castle is currently owned by a Canadian family. Twenty years ago, the interior of the castle was renovated in order to be used as a wedding venue.
The estate is set in 40 acres of land and features not one, not two, but EIGHT bedrooms and seven bathrooms. Included is two gate lodges and two staff cottages for the six employees that live on the estate. In addition, the castle comes with a heated swimming pool, two tennis courts, an 18-hole golf course and a croquet lawn. There are multiple reception rooms, a library, a china room and a huge kitchen.
The master bedroom suite features a giant bedroom, a sitting room, shower room, bathroom and a huge dressing room.

In the main house (because this castle is so large, you can designate one building as the main house and everything else a secondary house), there is a study, a sauna and a massage room. Elsewhere on the grounds, a greenhouse, an orchard, a woodland garden and a swimming pool cabana can be found.
The estate is hidden by masses of hardwood trees and is bound by a high beech hedge to the south. The castle is surrounded by the Perthshire countryside with the Grampian Mountains to the north. The location of the castle provides plenty of activities for both Taylor and Calvin. There is year-round salmon fishing on the Tay, skiing, cycling and woodland walks.
The Tower of Lethendy is conveniently located 50 miles from Edinburgh airport as well as the Dundee airport.
I have several questions. When are you ever going to need two tennis courts? Or eight bedrooms? Who has the time to play golf, especially when you’re a multi-millionaire pop star? Why can’t you buy an apartment like the rest of us? Buy an apartment in Edinburgh and bypass the hour drive. Who really needs to get away to the Scottish countryside, anyway?
Me. I need to get away to the Scottish countryside.
