How to Master the Celeb-Loved 'Hun' Hairstyle

If Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Lopez and Khloe Kardashian are doing it, it only makes sense for us to do it too, right?
We’re talking about the hot new commodity we’re seeing more and more of and it comes in the form of a hairstyle: The hun, which is a half-bun ‘do that all the It-Girls are rockin’ nowadays.
What’s awesome about the hun, which is pretty much the female version of the man bun, is that no matter what type of hair you have, it’ll still work for you. Long hair, short hair, super curly or pin straight, you’ve probably sported this hairstyle before like on days when you just don’t give a f*ck what your hair looks like or on Day 2 of not cleaning it. Only difference now is that it’s trendy to sport because it’s Instagram official.
So how do you achieve the hun look? Us Weekly shows us in GIFS:
1. Give your hair some texture by adding a hair spritz. You can actually use anything for this step as long as you can grip your locks, so no oily serum.

2. Grab a chunk of hair like you would in a half-up, half-down attempt, just don’t go too heavy on the hair load. Secure at the crown.
Look-1-Step-2---Separate-hair
3. Take the ponytail and twist around, firmly securing with a bobby pin.
Look-1-Step-3---Twist-into-bun
This is just one way of replicating the celeb-loved hairdo, one that you can wear casually or much more formally.
