For the past couple of months, the two ex-lovers have been assuring the media that they are still friends. Because words will never satisfy a hungry public, they went above and beyond this evening to prove their friendship.
This Saturday evening, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez released a smooth and sexy duet via Apple Music’s OVO Sound Radio. Entitled “Strong,” the new track tells the story of frustrated lovers in a long-distance relationship. It begins with Gomez speaking in a monotone fashion over a repeated set of guitar chords, wishing that her significant other was better at communication. In addition, “Strong” features Bieber whispering into the microphone, begging his beloved to “be strong” in the chorus.
Basically, this song is every Jelena(?)-supporter’s dream.
