Disney movies are pretty scary for kids. I allegedly had to be taken out of Snow White in theaters because my screams when the witch came on screen were deafening, and I definitely had more than one nightmare about a stampede of wildebeest taking me out a la The Lion King despite living in suburban New Jersey.

In this eerie reimagining, Jasmine takes a cue from The Exorcist, Mulan looks ready to crawl out of your television screen, and Cinderella gets the Carrie treatment at the school dance.
Great. Now I have to watch Disney movies with the lights on.
