WATCH: Pianist Plays "Imagine" For Crowd Outside of the Bataclan

As Paris reels from the deadly terrorist attacks that occurred last night, today, a pianist returned to the site of the bloodiest violence. The man, who is still unknown, dragged a piano that was marked with a peace sign with his bike to the Bataclan concert venue.
The man sat down, played John Lennon’s, “Imagine,” for the crowd. A very fitting song given recent events.
He was surrounded by a group of people as he began to play. At the end of the song, he stood up and wiped his face. You can watch the moving performance below.

This morning, the Bataclan and other sites of violence have turned into places of memorial and tribute. People have been gathering to lay candles, flowers and messages.
In response to the attacks, millions of people have come together in support of Paris. Social media users have been sending their support and offering their homes to those in need by using the hashtag #PorteOuverte (“open door”) and #StrandedinUS. Additionally, Facebook turned on its safety check feature for users to let friends and family know that they are safe.
The French Red Cross has begun to accept donations and has deployed hundreds of volunteers into the city.
