If it were up to me, it’d be above 70 degrees all year long. Unfortunately for everyone, it’s not up to me. At least if it’s going to be freezing, we can enjoy winter activities like hanging out in a $14 million mega-mansion located in a gorgeous ski town.
Well, you can if you’re Oprah Winfrey.
Oprah just purchased a new abode to enjoy over the winter months in Telluride, Colorado. The 5-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom (You get a bathroom! You get a bathroom! Everybody gets a bathroom!) mansion features a seven-person hot tub, a private path to a ski trail, and a 35-foot outdoor tower containing a fire pit with postcard-worthy views of the San Sophia Mountain Range. And let’s not forget about the 56-foot “wine mine” accessible by mine cart with storage for 1,600 bottles of wine. Yes, seriously, because wine is apparently one of O’s very “favorite things.”
While you’re freezing on your walk to class and your dorm refuses to turn on the heat, just imagine how Oprah is spending her winter. Maybe don’t if you want to ever be happy again.
